West Virginia High School Football - North Marion sneaks past East Fairmont
August 29, 2024: Fairmont, WV 26554 The North Marion Huskies football squad scored 28 points and limited the host East Fairmont Bees to 21 in the Huskies league triumph on Thursday.
The Huskies now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Preston for a Big Ten test on Friday, September 6. North Marion will meet a Knights squad coming off a 41-34 non-league loss to Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, East Fairmont drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bees travel to Grafton (Grafton, WV) to meet the Bearcats in a Big Ten test on Friday, September 6. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 0-1. Grafton lost 35-14 in their recent league test against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
