Michigan High School Football - Erie-Mason tops New Standard Academy
August 29, 2024: Erie, MI 48133 The Erie-Mason Eagles football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting New Standard Academy Spartans to 6 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dundee for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Erie-Mason will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 42-6 non-league loss to Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, New Standard Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Genesee (Genesee, MI) to meet the Wolves in a Genesee Area test on Saturday, September 7. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 1-0. Genesee won 28-6 in their recent non-league test against Academy for Business & Tech (Melvindale, MI)
