In Thursday's non-league match, the host Paramount Pirates football squad scored a good 33-6 triumph over the Fairfax Lions.

The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Compton (Compton, CA). The Tarbabes come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Compton defeated Centennial (Compton, CA), 47-12, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Lions meet the Los Angeles Romans (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Romans come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 40-0 non-league loss to Grant (Van Nuys, CA).
