The Munising Mustangs football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Wright Red Devils to 14 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Linden-Hubbell for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Munising will clash with a Lakes squad coming off a 36-20 non-league loss to Hurley (Hurley, WI). The Lakes record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Wright drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Rapid River (Rapid River, MI) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league test on Friday, September 13.
