August 29, 2024: New Lothrop, MI 48460 New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders (Muskegon, MI), 30-29 in a non-league battle.
With the win, New Lothrop advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hornets host Durand (Durand, MI) to play the Railroaders in a Mid-Michigan battle on Friday, September 6. The Railroaders go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Durand won 41-7 in their recent non-league battle against Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI)
