In Thursday's non-league match, the host North Side Steers football squad scored a good 35-20 triumph over the Western Hills Cougars.

The Steers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Diamond Hill-Jarvis was beaten by South Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 59-6, in a non-league match.
