In Thursday's non-league match, the host Northwestern Lehigh Tigers football squad scored a decisive 56-7 triumph over the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs.

The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Slaters come into the Colonial-Schuylkill - A match with a 0-2 record.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - B match, on Saturday, September 7. Northern Lehigh will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Green Knights come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 24-7 league win over Palmerton (Palmerton, PA).
