The Lancaster Eagles flag football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Vasquez Mustangs to 13 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Lancaster will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 26-8 non-league win over Hueneme (Oxnard, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Vasquez drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Palmdale (Palmdale, CA) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-4.
