Kentucky High School Soccer - Menifee County toppled by Boyd County
August 29, 2024: Ashland, KY 41102 Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Boyd County moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Estill County (Irvine, KY) to clash with the Engineers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Engineers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Estill County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Madison Central (Richmond, KY)
The Wildcats now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ironton for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5.
