August 29, 2024: Lilburn, GA 30047 The Lanier Longhorns football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Berkmar Patriots to 0 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Longhorns now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dacula for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Lanier will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 26-22 non-league loss to Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Berkmar drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
