August 29, 2024: Dallas, NC 28034 North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC), 12-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, North Gaston advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to play the Ironmen in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. The Ironmen go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Burns for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3.
