August 29, 2024: Marietta, GA 30064 The Marietta Blue Devils football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Campbell Spartans to 6 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Devils now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Paulding for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Marietta will meet a Wolfpack squad coming off a 40-26 non-league loss to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Campbell drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Harrison (Kennesaw, GA) to meet the Hoyas in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Hoyas come into the test with a record of 0-2. Harrison lost 21-3 in their recent non-league test against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA)
