North Carolina High School Football - North Buncombe tops Owen
August 29, 2024: Black Mountain, NC 28711 The North Buncombe Black Hawks football squad scored 43 points and limited the host Owen Warhorses to 14 in the Black Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Black Hawks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brevard for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12.
With the defeat, Owen drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Warhorses host Patton (Morganton, NC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Patton won 34-30 in their recent non-league test against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
