North Carolina High School Football - Overhills can't hold off Pinecrest
August 29, 2024: Spring Lake, NC 28390 Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 13-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Pinecrest advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 4. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Middle Creek won 21-6 in their recent non-league battle against Garner (Garner, NC)
The Jaguars now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Western Harnett for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3.
