The Mavericks now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Mecklenburg for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 4.
With the loss, South Iredell drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to clash with the Ragin' Bulls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 3. The Ragin' Bulls come into the bout with a record of 2-5.
