Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Boyertown nudged by Downingtown East
August 29, 2024: Exton, PA 19341 Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Downingtown East advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Bears now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Methacton for a Pioneer test on Tuesday, September 3. Boyertown will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
