South Dakota High School Volleyball - Alcester-Hudson overwhelmed by St. Mary
August 29, 2024: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Mary advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cardinals host Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD) to face the Rutland in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Rutland go into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Cubs now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland for a B Region 4 test on Tuesday, September 3. Alcester-Hudson will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-0.
