Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Union Grove Christian improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Patriots host Cramerton Christian Academy (Cramerton, NC) to encounter the Crusaders in a NCCSA AA District 1 - West Region test on Friday, August 30. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 3-1. Cramerton Christian Academy won 3-2 in their recent league test against Vandalia Christian (Greensboro, NC)

The Cougars now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Day School for a NCISAA Piedmont Triad Athletic test on Friday, August 30.
