August 29, 2024: Pleasant Hill, IA 50327 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) and the visiting Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA), observed Southeast Polk's volleyball team hold off Humboldt by a count of 2-1.
The Rams (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets enter the contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, North Polk was tipped by Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Wildcats battle the South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) in a contest, on Saturday, August 31. Humboldt will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ridge View (Holstein, IA).
