Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Jay County advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Indians go into the test with a record of 3-2. Fort Recovery lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Arcanum (Arcanum, OH)

The Bearcats now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeastern for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Muncie Central will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
