Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Joliet West improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers host Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to face the Spartans in a Southwest Prairie test on Thursday, September 5. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 1-3.

The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinsdale Central for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Lincoln-Way Central will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-1.
