August 29, 2024: Cerritos, CA 90703 Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Whitney advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to La Quinta (Westminster, CA) to face the Aztecs in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Aztecs go into the test with a record of 3-3. La Quinta won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA)
The Cardinals now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montebello for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Whittier will face a Oilers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Oilers record now stands at 0-5.
