August 29, 2025: Macon, GA 31210 Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 33-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Academy for Classical Education advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Dodge County (Eastman, GA) to confront the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, September 5. The Indians come into the match with a record of 2-0. Dodge County won 46-8 in their recent league match against Central (Macon, GA)
Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 match, on Friday, September 5. Jefferson County will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 32-0 league win over Washington County (Sandersville, GA).
