The Adams Cougars football squad scored 32 points and limited the host Southwest Raiders to 30 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league test on Friday, September 5.

With the defeat, Southwest falls to 0-1 on the year. The Raiders host Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, September 4. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-1. Wilmer-Hutchins lost 39-0 in their recent non-league game against Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX)
