August 29, 2025: Anson, TX 79501 Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Hamlin Pied Pipers (Hamlin, TX), 49-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Anson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Archer City (Archer City, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Archer City lost 46-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Quanah (Quanah, TX)
The Pied Pipers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Seymour bounced Colorado (Colorado City, TX), 33-27, in a non-league challenge.
