Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team top the visiting El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX), 42-13 in a non-league test.

The Panthers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Dorado for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Austin will meet a Aztecs squad coming off a 27-12 non-league win over Andress (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, El Paso drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Mountain View (El Paso, TX) to meet the Lobos in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Lobos come into the test with a record of 1-0. Mountain View won 27-24 in their recent non-league test against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM)
