August 29, 2025: Barlow, KY 42024 The Jo Byrns Red Devils football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Ballard Memorial Bombers to 0 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host East Robertson for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Jo Byrns will face a Indians team coming off a 24-0 non-league win over Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN). The Indians record now stands at 2-0.
The Bombers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Massac County (Metropolis, IL). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Massac County was ripped by Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL), 50-28, in a non-league challenge.
