Iowa High School Football - BCLUW falls to East Marshall
August 29, 2025: Le Grand, IA 50142 The East Marshall Mustangs ran past the visiting BCLUW Comets football squad by a margin of 42-20 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. East Marshall will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 35-8 non-league loss to North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, BCLUW drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Comets host West Fork (Sheffield, IA) to meet the Warhawks in a A District 2 test on Friday, September 5. The Warhawks come into the test with a record of 1-0. West Fork won 21-6 in their recent non-league test against North Butler (Greene, IA)
