The Northwest Halifax Vikings football squad (Littleton, NC), was outscored 50-32 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC)

The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Union thwarted Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC), 38-0, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Vikings encounter the North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 12. Northwest Halifax will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
