In Friday's non-league game, the Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH) football team were victorious over the visiting Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH), by a tally of 34-8.

In their next game, the Fighting Irish face the Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 5. Ursuline will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Steelers enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 45-3 non-league win over Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA).

The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH). The Scots come into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Walnut Ridge was knocked off by Canfield (Canfield, OH), 35-20, in a non-league outing.
