The Howe Bulldogs football team (Howe, TX), was crushed 57-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX)

With the win, Boyd advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 0-1. Jacksboro lost 34-21 in their recent non-league contest against Eagle Mountain (Fort Worth, TX)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Bonham Warriors (Bonham, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Howe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 56-3 non-league loss to Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX).
