In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Callaway Chargers football squad scored a good 34-6 victory over the Forest Hill Patriots.

The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Murrah (Jackson, MS). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Murrah was beaten by Terry (Terry, MS), 47-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Forest Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Gators enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 14-8 non-league win over Natchez (Natchez, MS).
