In Friday's non-league match, the host Galion Tigers football squad scored a good 41-14 triumph over the Carey Blue Devils.

The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH). The Truckers go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Norwalk was dropped by Ontario (Ontario, OH), 37-6, in a non-league battle.

The Blue Devils now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Lima Central Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Carey will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 22-19 non-league win over Shawnee (Lima, OH). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-0.
