The Cedar Bluffs Wildcats football squad scored 52 points and limited the visiting Walthill Blujays to 14 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyons-Decatur Northeast for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Cedar Bluffs will face a Cougars team coming off a 42-40 non-league win over Homer (Homer, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

The Blujays (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE). The Wolfpack enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Elgin/Pope John was ripped by Burwell (Burwell, NE), 47-12, in a non-league challenge.
