The Chatham Cavaliers football squad scored 26 points and limited the host Prince Edward County Eagles to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Tunstall for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Chatham will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 49-42 non-league loss to Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Prince Edward County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Windsor (Windsor, VA) to face the Dukes in a non-league game on Friday, September 5.
