Wisconsin High School Football - Chetek-Weyerhaeuser sneaks past Spring Valley
August 29, 2025: Chetek, WI 54728 The Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs football squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Spring Valley Cardinals to 8 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ladysmith for a Lakeland test on Friday, September 5. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will meet a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Spring Valley drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Clear Lake (Clear Lake, WI) to meet the Warriors in a Dunn-St. Croix test on Friday, September 5. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-1. Clear Lake lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Webster (Webster, WI)
