California High School Football - Summit sneaks past Chino

August 29, 2025: Fontana, CA 92336

The Summit SkyHawks football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Chino Cowboys to 25 in the SkyHawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The SkyHawks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beaumont for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Summit will face a Cougars team coming off a 52-31 non-league win over Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.

The Cowboys (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Aliso Niguel held off Beckman (Irvine, CA), 38-3, in a non-league challenge.
