South Carolina High School Football - Hillcrest toppled by Clover

The Hillcrest Rams football team (Simpsonville, SC), dropped 30-21 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC)

With the win, Clover advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blue Eagles travel to Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Pumas in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Palisades won 26-0 in their recent non-league bout against Olympic (Charlotte, NC)

The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greer for a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. Hillcrest will confront a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 42-19 non-league loss to Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-2.
