Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), 49-21 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Creekview advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Parrots in a non-league match on Saturday, September 6. The Parrots enter the match with a record of 0-1. Polytechnic lost 54-0 in their recent non-league match against Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the South Garland Titans (Garland, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Irving will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
