In Friday's non-league match, the host Crescent Tigers football squad scored a good 21-6 victory over the Palmetto Mustangs.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Stars enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Palmetto will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
