The Platteview Trojans got by the host Crete Cardinals football team by a score of 30-27 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Platteview will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Minutemen come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Holdrege (Holdrege, NE).
