Faith Lutheran Crusaders (Las Vegas, NV) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV), 42-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Faith Lutheran improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Crusaders host Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 2-0. Valor Christian won 41-15 in their recent non-league match against Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO)

Coming up next, the Mustangs meet the Wooster Colts (Reno, NV) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Damonte Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Colts come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
