Michigan High School Football - Detroit Community defeats Douglass
August 29, 2025: Detroit, MI 48202 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Detroit Community Hurricanes football squad scored a good 24-0 victory over the Douglass Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Clemens (Mt. Clemens, MI). The Battling Bathers enter the Charter - Silver match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Mt. Clemens was topped by Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI), 12-8, in a non-league battle.
The Hurricanes now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Western International for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Douglass will play a Cowboys team coming off a 46-14 non-league loss to Communication Media Arts (Detroit, MI). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-1.
