August 29, 2025: Lake City, IA 50450 In Friday's non-league match, the host South Central Calhoun Titans football team scored a tight 20-14 win over the Earlham Cardinals.
In their next game, the Titans play the Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. South Central Calhoun will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Raptors go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 24-7 non-league win over Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA).
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Blue Devils come into the A District 6 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Martensdale-St. Mary's was nipped by Highland (Riverside, IA), 13-0, in a non-league test.
