The North Knox Warriors football squad scored 53 points and limited the host Eastern Greene Thunderbirds to 13 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Posey for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. North Knox will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 34-0 league win over Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Eastern Greene drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to North Daviess (Elnora, IN) to clash with the Cougars in a Southwest test on Friday, September 5. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 2-0. North Daviess won 10-9 in their recent league game against North Central (Farmersburg, IN)
