Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Tallassee Tigers (Tallassee, AL) and the visiting Elmore County Panthers (Eclectic, AL), saw Tallassee's football team prevail over Elmore County by a final score of 25-9.

With the win, Tallassee advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers host Munford (Munford, AL) to encounter the Lions in a 4A Region 3 bout on Friday, September 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Munford lost 38-14 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Lincoln, AL)
