In Friday's non-league battle, the host Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles football team scored a nice 24-0 win over the Savio Eagles.

With the win, Fort Bend Christian Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Cornerstone Christian won 43-22 in their recent non-league battle against Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX)
