The Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) football knocked off the host Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), 35-15 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Rockbridge County was toppled by Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA), 21-11, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Indians battle the Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Fort Defiance will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 44-3 non-league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA).
