Florida High School Football - Fort Walton Beach falls to South Walton

August 29, 2025: Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459

The South Walton Seahawks felled the visiting Fort Walton Beach Vikings football team by a score of 29-16 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Seahawks play the Arnold Marlins (Panama City Beach, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 12. South Walton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Marlins come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 27-6 non-league win over Providence Christian (Dothan, AL).

With the defeat, Fort Walton Beach drops to 0-2 on the season. The Vikings host West Florida (Pensacola, FL) to face the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. West Florida lost 28-20 in their recent non-league test against Booker T. Washington (Pensacola, FL)
