North Carolina High School Football - Lake Norman Charter over Garinger

August 29, 2025: Huntersville, NC 28078

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), witnessed Lake Norman Charter's football squad knock off Garinger by a tally of 43-13.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, North Rowan was toppled by Salisbury (Salisbury, NC), 40-36, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 5. Garinger will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 22-6 non-league loss to Harding University (Charlotte, NC).
